Smooth whipped mango body butter

Are you one of those people who don't like the smell of shea butter, but want a butter that is wonderfully nourishing? Then mango butter is the solution. Mango butter has a very mild fragrance and is just as nourishing as shea butter. This recipe for whipped mango body butter is very easy, because the butter does not need to be melted! Make sure you have a large, sealable jar to store the butter in. When closed in a dry and dark place, the whipped butter can be used for months.


  • 100 grams mango butter (link)
  • 50 milliliters jojoba oil (link)
  • Essential oil of your choice

Place the mango butter in a bowl and mash the butter with a fork. Add the jojoba oil and blend the mixture with a hand mixer for 5 minutes. Scrape the sides of the bowl from time to time to get everything mixed well. When the butter has a nice whipped consistency, add 10-15 drops of your favorite essential oil.
